|
Edited on Thu Oct-09-08 02:06 PM by KansasVoter
First off, he is so pissed because he knows he is losing!!!! And says McCain is finally getting into the game by insulting Obama!
They he said "If McCain wins this thing, you know the 'Drive By's' will increase over the next few weeks!
(Note, see post below that says what Rush means by 'Drive-Bys', apparently he is talking MSM attacks.
What an asshole!

1. Imagine if Rachel Maddow said "and if Obama wins this thing, you know the lynchings will |
|
increase over the next few weeks."

2. I listen to him and Hannity these days for pure entertainment. |
|
They crack me up. Nothing brings a grin to my face quicker than hearing Hannity cry that something is not fair. He's crying like a baby. He's on edge about to blow and it's hilarious.
Yesterday one of Rush's callers pissed him off by saying she was calling to calm him down, that he was going over the edge. He took great exception to that. Hannity bragged about letting a liberal call in but within a minute, he was livid and angry, about to crack.
It's great entertainment right now.

5. He keeps screaming about Ayers, and why don't they use that?? |
|
Because it has been discredited. I was a lifelong Catholic, and he lies and hates more than any other CAtholic I know, he should be so ashamed. He gives Catholicism a terrible name.

7. Their desperation is highly amusing |
|
The voices cracking, the pushing of the rhetorical envelope. Rush and Hannity in particular are in fine fettle. It's all I can get in my car, so I generally get a few minutes of their anguish every day on the way to work.

someone should kidnap him, feed him a bunch of LSD, take all his clothes and identification and dump him in Hunter's Point. (note to those who don't know San Francisco, it's kind of our version of south central LA).

8. Ugh, i'm going to hate myself for this |
|
because it comes across as defending Limpbaugh's but you misheard him. "...you know the drive-by's will be incensed over the next few weeks" His term for the MSM is 'the drive-by'
Not to say Rush doesn't deserve his own place in hell, but on this he's not guilty.

but he frequently calls the MSM the 'drive-by media'
I don't have an explanation for why he does. It probably makes sense to his oxy-addled brain.

When in doubt wiki knows all....
Drive-by media The mainstream media. Limbaugh asserts that the mainstream media attempt to ambush their enemies in a manner analogous to that of gang members i.e. in a drive-by shooting. He also uses the term to claim that the media causes the news rather than reports it, e.g., reporting that a Qur’ān was found in a toilet which led to riots in the Middle East, or by supposedly creating a rigged poll to report that a politician is polling poorly, then running stories about why people think the politician polls poorly.<2> Limbaugh also claims the media does not try to get the whole story or both sides of a story. Also referred to as the "drive-bys."

I just turned it on and did not know that was his term for MSM. Sorry, but I assumed drive-bys meant shootings.
