1. What about Sweden?
What do you mean Sweden? And what economic policy from Sweden? And what do you mean bringing us socialism? Sweden currently has a right-wing government!

2. When the financial system in Sweeden was failing, Sweeden took it over.

4. Now I get it...
Right! Sweden had a bank crisis in 1992. At that time the Swedish government was right-wing too. The finance minister at the time has said that state ownership was the only way they could guarantee tax payers to get their money bank. They had to forget about politics for a while and try to solve the crisis in a bipartisan manner. And yes... he was right. The tax payers got their money back and the economy is stronger than ever.

3. wtf is wrong with that?
do you even know what sweden did? they extracted flesh from the banks instead of buying up their toxic shit at double or triple of what it's worth (aka a gift from the taxpayers).

the taxpayers broke even or even made money from the deal in sweden, depending on how you count it. if our government had any brains, they would have done the same thing. but then dumb fucks like you would scream socialism like the world is going to crumble.

either i missed the sarcasm tag or you're an idiot.

6. You got it right.
I suppose he/she was just ironic. If you introduce state ownership from ideological reasons I can understand why people scream socialism, but it's totally different if you do it because you have to.

5. I don't see any socialism around my state.

There's no access to healthcare for all.

The schools are crumbling.

Those are not hallmarks of socialism.

Get back to us when we have real socialism.
