Mr. Dobbs,

While you may find it entertaining to egg on the radical right wingers who are full of hatred by posting the ridiculous, yet dangerous, poll on your site, I for one find it despicable.

There is no danger of so-called "radical left wing activists" (who you don't name, funnily enough) attempting to influence the election. The danger that exists in relation to this topic is that the McCain-Palin rallies are inciting hatred and are fear-mongering people with lies about a SITTING US SENATOR attempting to tie him to domestic terrorism. They are slandering a SITTING US SENATOR with what they KNOW to be lies, knowing full well that the sort of people they attract to their rallies these days will take it in hook, line and sinker.

This is a very dangerous thing they are doing. They have more than crossed the line here. By creating the frenzy with their known lies, a frenzy filled with shouts of "kill him" and "terrorist" they are creating an atmosphere of hatred and egging on potential violence. By not having spoken out against this and demanding that their supporters stop reacting that way they are condoning the behavior and any violent behavior that follows.

Should something happen to Sen. Obama, a SITTING US SENATOR, it will be on your hands as well as McCain's and Palin's.

I thought you were educated, but now I question that, for educated people see what is happening here and would never condone it by having a poll of this sort on their site.

I just shot this off in anger in response to the poll he has on his site, I hope it turned out somewhat coherent. I really think we need to pound the media about this bullshit. And our Senators and Harry Reid too, demanding that they censure McCain.
