that the Time poll might have some "problems" with it because there's another poll out today that has them even!
Purely by accident...she didn't know they were back on the air!
Then she smiled with guilt when she realized it went out over the airwaves....HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

I thought that was just RW BS about a campaign shake-up I haven't seen any such report/article-I assumed this was just the same as the "Kerry campaign official admits that first purple heart could possibly be from a self-inflicted wound" type crap.

33. The self inflicted wound is similar to Bob Dole's |
|
Kerry and another sailor dropped a grenade to destroy a large container of rice so it would not be used to feed the Viet Cong. While moving out of the way he took a bit of shrapnel from the grenade. I seem to recall from my Army days grenades have a 3 second timer. This is all part of public record.

I just remembered something, too: When Kerry was flying high in the spring, CNN had a poll that gave him a 12-point lead among likely voters, which no one else was even close to having. Perhaps CNN/Time oversampled Repukes. I hope this is the worst poll we see.

But I think she said "she" might have problems with the poll Woodruff was using. Woodruff just got through interviewing a woman from the Kerry campaign who complained of the fact that Woodruff was using only the most favorable Bush poll today, the one that has him 11 points ahead, while another poll has Kerry and Bush even. I think in an unscripted moment, Woodruff was acknowledging to her own staff that they were using the pro Bush poll.
Woodruff was absoluate trash today. Every time the pro Kerry people tried to address Bush's record, she redirected the questions toward remarks made by the Bush campaign about John Kerry. Every time a Kerry person tried to take the offensive, she tried everything to get them to play defense instead. She is the essence of trash.

I don't know if that is what is behind her kind of questioning. |
|
It almost seems to me that she was begging Mary Beth to defend against the derisive remarks made at Kerry and I have to admit so am I. Instead Mary BEth kept repeating the same old song that the Repugs don't have a record so they have to etc etc. and that isn't going to cut it anymore. Kerry and his reps have to start rebuting the actual put downs and turn the tables right then and there.
They need to ridicule politicians in this day and age who do not know how parlimentary procedures work and explain his votes and call them liars when necessary.

but I found this
ALBANY -- A national poll released Wednesday found Democratic presidential nominee John Kerry changed the perception of many voters in his party's convention, getting across his vision and appearing ready to become a world leader. FEATURED ADVERTISER The Marist College Institute for Public Opinion poll, however, also found the Massachusetts senator gained little of the traditional post-convention bounce in popularity and remains neck-in-neck with Republican President Bush.
"I think going into the convention, a lot of Kerry support was anti-Bush," said Marist pollster Lee Miringoff. "The biggest change in voters' perceptions of John Kerry as a result of the Democratic National Convention is that a growing number thinks he has a vision for the future, is respected by leaders throughout the world and is ready to be president,"
Kerry has the support of 45 percent of the voters nationwide to Bush's 44 percent, a statistical tie. Independent challenger Ralph Nader had 3 percent, and 8 percent were undecided.
In the nation's 17 so-called battleground states, Kerry had the support of 49 percent of registered voters and Bush had 42 percent, according to the poll.
Undecided voters have traditionally broken mostly for the challenger, but they can be influenced otherwise, Miringoff said Wednesday.
"World events can change and create movement here. Also, the undecideds sometimes end up just not voting, particularly at this point where so many people have picked sides," he said.
In other results among registered voters nationwide:
49 percent approve of the job Bush is doing in office; 47 percent disapprove.
55 percent disapprove of Bush's handling of the Iraq war.
51 percent disapprove of Bush's handling of the economy.
52 percent approve of Bush's handling of the war on terrorism.
49 percent felt the nation was headed in the right direction.
The telephone poll of 1,075 adults was conducted July 30 through Aug. 2. It has a sampling error margin of plus or minus 3 percentage points.

Put it this way, she once wrote a love poem about Ronald Reagan's foot.
Not that that is proof of bias. Not at all.

that was Peggy Loonan who waxed poetic about Reagan's foot. I know, it's hard to keep all the unprincipled whores straight, but wanted the record to reflect that it WAS Loonan. I'm sure Judy has been guilty of far worse, though....

showing that Mary Beth was very effective. She had Judy repeating her spin to the other pundits, which is how pundits usually gather their information anyway ("insiders say," usually means "one of my colleagues says that someone with the campaign told her that . . .") since they're too lazy to actually engage in any real fact-finding on their own.

I noticed during the last couple conven days that Wolfie seemed a bit 'dismissive' of her remarks and she looked a bit uneasy. Can't say what that is all about, but definitely got a spidey sense that something is not going well for WoofWoof careerwise.
Perhaps this wasn't an 'accident' as the big bull masters will not be so pleased with her oops.
