Re: ACORN - In my state, voter registration forms can generally be traced back to the source.
Each form has a unique serial number.

Is that not the case with all this ACORN nonsense in Nevada, etc?

But it has nothing to do with Obama.

For one purpose or another, a few people have submitted bogus registrations. Can it really be so difficult to figure out who did it?

And, in case you haven't noticed, the bogus registration issue is being used to bolster the case for purging voters. That's why we need answers right away.

Understand?

You're getting pretty good at these Palinisms. Everybody knows the blowhards like Rush Limbaugh are overhyping this and Obama's connection to ACORN as well as trying to blame the inner-city on this economic crisis.

Are you a compulsive liar?

Are you still working on letting me know to which Kool Aid you were referring?

Are you still practicing quoting yourself?

unrelated articles.

You're sure a sharp one.

has to do with tracing bogus registrations back to the source?

Now, I know you will be compelled to post more smilies and ignore the question, but how 'bout you give it a shot.

4. from that link
IV. Accountability

1. Canvassers account for every voter registration application given to the canvasser each shift by completing a batch sheet at the end of the shift.

2. Canvassers put their initials or name on each voter application they collect at the end of the shift.

3. Applications are ordered by canvasser and shift.

It seems it should be pretty easy to account for the mess ups.

6. If true, why doesn't ACORN just explain the situation?
They don't have to use anybody's name. You gotta figure that with a batch of 5000 having over 40% bogus names, it'd be easy to figure out.

Then again, maybe they don't know which ones were bogus.

In any case, the ACORN spokesperson does not come off well blaming others for the existence of the bad registrations.
