Zo(m)by Poll-Obama 48% -McCain 43% |
|
Obama had his first single-day polling above 50%, while McCain polled in the low 40s for the second day in a row. Still, the race remains within the margin of error. http://www.zogby.com/news/ReadNews.dbm?ID=1580

1. Zogby can still eat my ass. |

But if Obama is even pulling away on Zogby's crock of a poll... well holy shit.

2. Zogby's party weighting is 38D 36R 26I... |
|
In other words, one of the most optimistic-for-Republican models around. If even that is putting Obama up by 4%-5% (and over 50% in yesterday's polling), that's real bad news for McCainiac.

Most polls have the Democrats with anywhere from a six to nine point generic advantage...
As you know some polls weight for party id and some polls don't...
For instance, Gallup isn't weighting...

6. Zogby is a fool. Obama is even with party identifiers and +10 with independents. |
|
That, "my friends", does NOT result in a mere five-point lead.

4. Zogby is almost always wrong |
|
Seriously, he was the worst pollster during the primaries. ARG was close, but Zogby took the prize.
