The vile ugliness of American Society is on display during this campaign in front of the whole world. This administration had already destroyed any credibility we had as a world leader and despite the 2004 fiasco, I hoped that we, the American people, were still somewhat liked by the rest of the world. But I think the display of the McCain/Palin hate fest of recent days, has destroyed any dignity we may have had left as a people.
People, I'm sick and tired of being embarrassed to be an American, we MUST win this election to maintain our dignity in front of the rest of world!

Everyone in the world has their own crazies. The world will breathe a sigh of relief when we as a people finally repudiate ours.

It is on display for everyone to see. McCain's campaign is turning into caricature. It is turning more fence-sitters toward Obama. It a few years these people will look like unreconstructed segregationists. Everyone will disown them.

5. You're embarrassed because of this election? |
|
Hell I've been embarrassed since Newt lead the "revolution" in 1994. And, I have a special ultra-embarrassment reserved for George "I can't say a complete sentance" Bush. Like Henry Rollins, I feel compelled to apologize to everybody (other than Americans) for that buffoon.

6. I've been embarrassed since 2000, and I'm tired of it! at least |

in 1994 we had Clinton who was very popular with the most of the world. Mind you, the Lewinsky witch hunt made us look ridiculous and it's been downhill from there

for decent americans to see. racism has been a reality for some of us, but many of us, even on the democratic side, tend to minimize its prevalence. if you don't acknowledge the extent of a problem, its highly unlikely that you will solve the problem. racism is a problem that america has never really solved.
i feel hopeful about america for the first time in my 49+ years on the planet.
