It was obvious that Repubs were just pelting her endlessly with balloons. They were coming from all directions not just from above. She is a tiny person it seems and she was helpless. I doubt it would have happened if she was a Fox news reporter instead of MSNBC. The whole crowd was already whipped into a frenzy against the media at that point chanting "NBC!NBC!" over and again whenever the media were criticized from the podium. I appreciate her turnaround whatever the cause.
