I want my President to be able to educate me when he speaks to me. There, I said it.

I want my President to actually say something when he speaks to me. There, I said it.

I want my President to speak to me, not at me. There, I said it.

I want my President to be able to break things down into manageable issues, explain the choices to me without using fear to control my thought process. There, I said it.

I want my President to be able to change his mind when the evidence supports a different view yet I expect him not to change it repeatedly within hours of his last public stance ad nauseum. There, I said it.


I want my President to actually LIKE people, to lift them up with his vision, not promote hatred because fear and dread of the differences between us is easier to muster than tolerance and acceptance is until experience plays a part of the equation. There, I said it.

I want my President to be "That One". There, I said it.

To me, that was the stupidest thing I ever heard.

I want a President who, even if I were friends with the guy, would just leave me in awe of his knowledge and his ability to connect with people. That's worth far, far more than a damned beer.
