Remember how you felt when you read this title the next time you have the urge to attack your fellow democrats for having a different opinion than you.
It doesn't feel good to have your friends question your motives does it?

1. I don't count confirmed pessimists among my friends.

Allies....maybe, such as they are.

But friends? That's stretching it.

2. It just gets a little frustrating having to constantly read the doom and

gloom threads.

Especially if you know that the media and it's "polls" are full of shit. If you're plugged into the grass roots, you KNOW that the only way Bush can win this is through outright theft. No amount of lies or ugliness will help him now, only fraud will win him re-election.

Does that mean I'm going to stop working, stop registering people to vote, stop precinct-walking? HELL NO! because I don't want to just win the White House back, I want the damn Senate and House of Representatives, too!

So, if I have to constantly stop to reassure the timid, or have my psychic energy drained by doom-and-gloomers, how the hell effective am I going to be in my part of this mission? It's like having your car break down in the desert; It will be tough but you know you'll be okay, yet one of your party panics and breaks into tears. You just HAVE to slap that person to snap 'em out of it and bring 'em back to reality so you can all do what needs doing.
