1. What I heard was that she unlawfully abused her power breaking
the law against violation of the public trust in trying to get her BIL fired. They concluded she broke no laws in firing Monegan because she had other reasons besides this one.

She did, however, break the law.

4. See, I'm not understanding this...
...because the report says she "didn't break any laws" but she "abused her power."

So, is "abuse of power" enough to damager her? Seriously? If she didn't violate
any laws, is it possible that the camp could lie and spin their way out of this?

If McCain could lie incessantly and turn Obama into some kind of domestic terrorist
sympathizer, I'm sure they'll do their damnedest to make Palin out to be "in violation
of no laws and the victim of a slanted, biased investigation."

Don't mean to throw cold water, but unless these bastards are caught red-handed, they
lie their asses off, and are never held accountable.

What are the repercussions for "abuse of power"?

5. The report does not say she didn't break the law.
It says she violated the law against using her office for personal reasons.

The other is just spin.
