We beat down their efforts in a 55-45 statewide vote victory. I went door to door on the issue. I am all for rights equality. But the point here is we don't need to go riling up the right wingers and turning off the middle-roaders and Indys with this "gay agenda" talk. You have many other avenues to advance your agenda. And there are HUNDREDS of issues groups that also have THEIR agendas (environmentalists, feminists, racial minority advocates, etc.), all with their "agendas", BUT we want to be a big-tent party, win in the heartland, and BEAT Republicans good and hard this cycle. We don't need these kinds of special issue distractions. Keep cool. You'll have a better advocate in the White House if and when Obama is elected. Right now, FOCUS on WINNING THE ELECTION AND ATTACKING REPUBLICANS, not advancing your personal "agenda". The "agenda" now is winning the election. HELP TO DO THAT !!
