Obama in North Philly Saturday - crowd there since midnight Friday |
|
Just saw a report on the Channel 10 Philly News. Crowds are already gathering for Obama's rally in North Philadelphia on Saturday. This report was live at 6:03 AM. The reporter interviewed a yound woman who had been there since midnight, as had many others as well - many brought blankets and folding chairs. Appeared to be several hundred people this morning at 6AM.
Amazing.

1. Whoa, they seriously camped out for 6 hours? |
|
Wow... that is hardcore. I envy those people for that experience. I wish I could attend a rally like that but I live in a safe state and am too poor to actually attend whatever fundraisers that Obama would be going to in my state to raise money. :(

6. Yeah, they did - there looked like several hundred people there |
|
at the time of the report. It was the first round of the Philly AM news at 6, and the report was at 6:03. A lot of folks in coats, etc, milling around, and everyone excited to be there. After so much negativity, it was great to see.
I still feel uplifted from it.

team and was turned down. They didn't want it to be "political." Jerks....

No link for that one yet but I keep checking. I think he is due to speak there at ~9:30 am EDT. After that it's 11:15 in Germantown and 1:00ish in West Philly.
