The problem is that Sarah Palin and John McCain descended from him to. Lol! Thank God Barack is a great man! McCain and Palin are disgusting.

1. What next?
Will we find out next week that William Wallace is Senator Obama's third cousin thrice removed?

"Freedom!"

14. I was inquiring as to quantass' claim re: Ghenghis Khan.
Edited on Sat Oct-11-08 09:25 AM by ClarkUSA
Many Koreans/Chinese/Japanese would be surprised at the claim. Now it may be true that every Russian has a drop of Mongol
blood in them (as one Russian folk saying goes) but I'm not so sure about East Asians, as Attila's range didn't extend that far into
Imperial China and her vassal states for very long; rather, Attila and his descendents ruled Russia for four hundred years.

22. um, the Mongols founded an imperial dynasty in China
The Yuans, founded by Kublai. And the Chagatai khanate covered, among other things part of western China.

27. The Mongols used Chinese to rule Chinese, which disputes quantass' redoubtable claim?
Edited on Sat Oct-11-08 09:02 PM by ClarkUSA
I dispute his claim that "2/3rd's of Asians are descended frm Ghangi Khan". It's ridiculous. For one thing,
there hasn't been any genetic marker studies stating any such thing that I know of.

23. Possibly less than a thousand years....
I've seen an estimate that it's likely that all people of British ancestry are related in the degree of twentieth cousin or closer.
