Can Joe Biden hit back with "Do we really know Sarah Palin?"
Obama shouldn't do it b/c he is at the top of the ticket.
but the VP is suppose to be the "attack dog"

I know they want to keep the focus the issues, and I agree with that, but it really gets to me, that someone nobody heard of before 5 weeks ago, is asking the question "Do you really know Barack Obama?" who has been Campaigning for 2 dayum years!!

1. I would think that after the revelations Friday
it would be a legitimate question to ask.

2. I don't know -- it's intriguing, though. He could preface it by referring
to her asking that question, then opening up the guns.

But Obama's camp seems pretty intent on staying away from that sort of thing, so maybe they wouldn't go that route and it would have to be a third party attempt. Although I think coming from Biden it would be much more effective.

3. The "do we really know" is not a good political tactic.
It's much better to paint your opponent in a negative light than in a questionable light. That's why the celebrity smear didn't work. When McCain was telling people that Obama is like Paris Hilton or Britney Spears, it made people question Obama and then examine him closely. That set the bar low for Obama for the first debate. When they saw someone debating McCain who didn't seem like a vacuous celebrity, it was game, set, match.

4. I agree it's a slippery slop, the question pops in my head
everytime I here that line of questioning from her.
But I trust Obama and Biden, I really hate the "Obama needs to do this" type post.
So I hope I didn't come off as one of those. It's just seems the repukes attempt to question Obama is simple an attempt to deflect from that fact the Palin is the newbee
also this line of attack came after she said at the debate, "I've only been at this for 5 weeks"

I think they were afraid Obama would jump on the line as an attack agains her so they decided to run it against him. But it's clear the Repuke have no Idea one how to attack Obama, and two how Obama has already planned for ever attack.
