Attention worriers: this will help- how simple winning is.
I am not scolding worriers because I can get bad at times myself...but look at this way: Obama keeps Kerry's states plus Virginia and Iowa and this race is over.

Not trying to be overconfident, but that's the simple math.

252+ 13+ 7= 272= President Obama

6. I feel like 264 is the baseline right now
The Kerry states, plus Iowa and New Mexico.

That leaves just one more state (though Nevada alone would not put us over 270).

There are many ways to get there. Just one of the following would do it:

Virginia, Missouri, Florida, Colorado, Ohio, Indiana or North Carolina.

7. So, lose Virginia and it's Pres. McCain?
Virginia is not a given for Obama. Overconfidence is the potential problem right now, not worrying. We all need to worry and work hard up to election day.

8. We could lose VA. But then we could win CO, FL, NC, or OH

12. Son...that's funny!
Perhaps you are overconfident. So many examples of defeat by rovian politics. Brace yourself for a nasty 3 weeks.

9. Of course not--there's Nevada with 5, Ohio with 20, Florida with 27
And the list goes on...I'm just trying to put some people who are sick with worry at ease.
You're the first one to accuse me of overconfidence. Early on, I got quite the contrary.

11. It's OK to be worried. Better than being overconfident.
I didn't accuse you of anything. The overconfidence can develop as voters get the impression that Obama will win easily, and then not vote! We should all be concerned about what might happen in the next 3 weeks.

14. Relax! We got this! Just vote and work hard for it.
We will get either Ohio or Florida and its over. Republicans cannot win. Tuesday November 4th I'm crunching the numbers and having victory drinks. I'm having Subway sandwiches, chips and dip, and drinks all night. Me thinks beer. Don't know. Computer and tv will be on. VICTORY!!! :) If Indiana or Virginia go Obama I'm going let out a yell that will rock my house!!! LOL. WE GOT THIS!!!
