99 days and counting!
Today, October 13, 2008 marks a milestone for our country! We are now UNDER 100 days left until we restore some sanity in the Oval Office. 99 days from today, President Obama will take the oath of office, and we will, at long last, be able to breath a HUGE sigh of relief! It may even be a HUGH sigh!!11!

3. OK, I may have gotten
a little ahead of my self to predict that President Obama will take the oath of office. I simply cannot bear to even imagine, however, a continuation of this, or worse, if a VP Sarah Palin were to become President.

Suffice to say that we are at a landmark to the end of the most destructive and dangerous administration in modern history...99 days and counting.

2. I'm buying a lottery ticket the minute after he leaves office.
Edited on Mon Oct-13-08 08:08 AM by Jamastiene
It will be symbolic. Even if that ticket isn't a winner, it will still bring good luck because it will mean I managed to make it through another fucking eight year Republican nightmare and they haven't killed me or my kind off...yet. :D

4. Call my optimism "cautious"
But I'll wait until the headlines read "President Elect Obama" before I start celebrating.
