So Palin's abuse of power didn't even survive the weekend?
The yahoo front story is an interview with a guy that might marry her daughter. That's somehow news 21 days til the election? How isn't the abuse of office the dominate story of the week? Damn that liberal media.

2. Actually when the story broke all the networks except for FoxNews.
Mentioned she violated Alaska ethics law and abused her power. It just wouldn't survive the weekend, that was common knowledge.

5. Since the Palin/McNuts ticket is about to FAIL badly
I suspect everyone is sitting back waiting for Nov/Dec when she goes home, and the world can can watch her get shredded by her fellow Alaskans for embarrassing them so badly in front of the entire planet.

Can go back to Alaska. Where, I'm sure she will be welcomed with open arms -- well as long as she keeps those oil-to-welfare checks coming.

8. I have no doubt
She has a senate seat in her future. It's amazing the Dem governor of New York was embarrassed out of office by the media for doing much less. This is actual abuse of office.

9. In all fairness, he did commit a felony
I'd like to give Spitzer a leg to stand on, but, not so much (keep in mind, it wasn't just transacting with prostitutes, it was also a violation of the Mann Act, as he transported them across state lines for the purposes of prostitution).

10. But most Dems
supported him leaving office. It's like Dems demand their politicians have some sort of ethics. Republicans seem completely happy people like Vitter, Craig, Palin have an active voice in their party. Is there no low a Republican can sink to that demands Republicans to stand up and speak out. McCain/Palin can smear Obama at will in the media despite they are the most tainted two politicians running on their ticket in a long time. Keating 5 and Troopergate. How hard is it for the media to inform the public as to these two events.

16. He is on trial
For violation of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and obstruction of justice and whose life is pretty much shit. Palin has had some scrapes too. But, don't lookie now but she's still VP candidate aside McCain having the time of her life.

People up here are pretty mad. We like the money, but we're not stupid. And you forget that more Republicans than Democrats voted to have the report released. She's not making any friends up here, for sure.

Or MSNBC... those are the two "news" stations usually on in the office kitchen.

22. I saw it on either/both of those stations today also.
The focus of the reports, though, was the replay of her radio interview where she claimed she was thrilled she was exonerated of any misdoing.

19. Call me crazy but if Obama wins, I want him to pardon her.....
..... because it would be the ULTIMATE act of good sportmanship.

But think about it ...... what's the first thing that comes to mind when you hear the word "pardon."

Yep! Nixon.

He can do a good deed and besmirch her all at the same time! That's always fun.

20. he shouldnn't pardon her
it is wrong to forgive breaking the public trust. she has not apologized. she clearly does not repent, in fact, she does not even know what she did wrong.

that's not OK.

she shouldn't be anywhere near power.

furthermore, this is not the first time she abused power in this way. it's the first time she got busted.

23. So she was accused and found guilty of abuse of power.
She is on record for wanting to broaden the vice president's responsibilities beyond that of even cheney.

This should be BIG news. A deal breaker....
