So let me get this straight - the bold, new campaign altering move today is a new stump speech? |
|
A new stump speech that is exactly the same as the old ones, just with a reference to being behind and having Obama "exactly where we want them".
McCain's campaign continuously demonstrates that they are so out of touch with the state of this nation, the world, and pretty much everything else.

2. It would take three weeks for her to change her speech if they did |
|
Remember after the RNC? She used the same speech for three weeks before they got her to change it a bit. Three weeks after that, she's mastered hate speech.
Quite simply put, there's just not enough time to reprogram Caribou Barbie.

5. My question is - why is the media buying into this as a "big story"? |
|
I know about the horse race aspect and all of that, but there is simply nothing new in his speech. Yet, the media is characterizing it as a "bold new move" - that should go against the logic of even the most seasoned right-winger.

6. Did you like the many minutes NPR gave to Steve Schmidt this morning |
|
to launch his strategy? He got lots of time to discuss his strategy and run his lines.
Wasn't that great of NPR to let him replay part of his Blind Ambition anti-Obama ad and repeat the charges of Obama associating with terrorists?
They just let him tell his strategy with very limited interference. Isn't that great? They're so supportive of the Republican Ends Justify the Means campaigning. Wow, that makes them really modern, doesn't it. Hey, too cool !
Now Pro Republican radio.

8. The only thing missing from that Schmidt appearance was the "Rocky" music |
|
That was by far the most ridiculous piece of "impartial" radio I have ever heard.
