We've seen a lot of lobbyists and bigoted people. Is his base truly the same as Bush's? My inclination is to think it is slightly different and really further to the right. We've seen enough dissent and outright jumping ship in the Republican party to affirm that the base is different. How would you define them for public consumption?

10. Isn't it just "staunch" Republicans? |
|
I never really understand this "base" stuff. Isn't any republican's base just people who are registered Republicans and always vote the Republican ticket no matter what? Isn't the Democratic base the same thing?

McSame never really had any base to speak of, with the exception of the MSM! He draws some retired military voters and similar, but remember all the mouthbreathing Rethug radio hatemongers were up in arms when he won the nomination - the unberConservatives can't stand him. The base, that is, the lynch mob of knukledraggers who show up at the rallies are Palin fans, for reasons too sickening to go into.:puke:
