Rob Reiner?
Has Rob Reiner said who he is supporting now? I remember during the primary he was a big Hillary fan. I rememberd seeing him in the audience during one debate and he was furious at Barack. His face was red and he was shaking his head. Just wondering if he is not supporting Barack or it he is supporting McCain.

1. Pretty sure he's for Obama.

Unless McCain reminds him of his father and Mel Brooks doing "The 2,000 year-old man."

4. He'd have to have dementia to support McCain...
... I know he's not stupid, so I'm guessing he's supporting Barack.

Rob Reiner: "Obama Will Win By a Landslide"

In an interview with Jeffrey Ressner of The Politico, Reiner predicts, "I think Obama will win by a landslide. The country is tired of the direction it’s been going in. It may be disingenuous to talk about McCain as a third Bush term, but essentially there’s not much difference between him and Bush on the key issues such as the economy and the war in Iraq. I think people are tired of the Republican brand and want a real change. Our stock in the world is as low as it’s ever been, we have a major health care crisis, we have a major economic crisis and we have a major energy crisis. And we need real leadership."

6. He will support McC when the sun starts going round the moon.
He's a good Democrat. I haven't heard anything, but you can bet good $$ that Meathead is no McC supporter.

7. I think I saw something he did with Dean so he must be onboard.
Or he's making Spinal Tap... "The Election". Either thing would work.

10. Rob Reiner came to my PA town in 2004 with some other celebs in support of Kerry.
I thanked him for coming to the local rally, and he said, "Thank YOU for volunteering and for working for Kerry. We MUST get him elected; it is so important for our future. Things have gotten so bad under Bush." -- something to that effect.

He was very serious and gave a really great speech back then.

So I sure that, no matter whom he supported in the primary, he's supporting Obama.

16. If he is really 'to the left of Michael Moore,' then why did he support Hillary?
It boggles the mind why self-professed liberals could support her in the first place. She is STILL DLC and Obama is not; he is to the LEFT of the DLC and has turned down every opportunity to join their outfit. Obama is a moderate, but he is still more liberal than the DLC. I could never understand why the most ardent liberals supported her. I think it's because they know her and the Clintons are still popular. Their DLC policies aren't though.

At any rate, I'm thrilled that he is on board.
