I know this is silly, but I'd love to see Ayers turn up at Wednesday's debate |
|
McFeeble is not likely to raise Ayers to Obama's face. He leaves that to his snarling pitbull and other surrogates. However, wouldn't it be a hoot if he does raise it on Wednesday. Obama will, of course, be prepared with his previous responses, and probably the most recent info I saw here earlier about the extent of the Annenberg Foundation's support of his work in education in Chicago. Wouldn't it be a riot if Obama then took the opportunity to introduce Ayers to McF during the debate. Face to face with what McSilly calls an unrepentant terrorist. Of course this is unlikely, as it would be a pointless digression, but can you just picture the look on gramps' face.

1. I've wondered why Ayers hasn't stepped forth to save his reputation. |
|
I know that if it were me, I would have come forth a long time ago. I keep hoping they are saving the for a time when it will do the most to embarrass the Repugs. Or, will it? Do they even look at what he is now? What he looks like now? I think the "woman in red" looked more dangerous than Ayers.
Just sayin'.

5. They can say what they will about Ayers: He don't play this crap - I mean attempting |

to justify himself.
I think he understands that it's a fool's errand. I think he knows he is just being used by the very culture he attempted to confront, violently, decades ago.
He has more courage than that fucking McCain has ever showed.

8. Bill Ayers is a smart guy |

He knows you can't win with the media and the spinmeisters, so he just sits tight.
His reputation is solid where it matters, in any case. This is all fluff for the nutters. It doesn't affect his life or practices in the least bit.

2. That Would be a Great Move |
|
Unlikely, but it would be bold stroke. And it would unnerve McCain to see Ayers sitting in the audience.

Bad bad bad idea. Ayers needs to stay out of this and as far away from Obama as possible.
Unless he's had a change of heart and has decided tofromally endorse McCain.

6. I doubt he'll bring it up. |
|
Too much negatives from the media after the bigots that support him made themselves know.
