Let me explain. McCain realizes that Barack Obama is well ahead. And it is a total relief to him!!! Now, he can relax, pretend he is campaigning with real ideas, and then concede, so he doesn't have to deal with the horrific mess the present administration has created. He knows that Obama is brilliant, and will handle things with integrity. So, he has peace of mind, that the country is in capable hands, now that the Dems are so far ahead. The real worry would have been if he, himself, were ahead. Really, he let his secret slip that "he has them where he wants them". A senior moment, perhaps. I have plenty of them, myself. If I saw Obama on the horizon, riding to the rescue, I, too, would thrill to the idea that he was right where we wanted him. And at his arrival, I would get out of the way and say, "Sir, you are the one we have been waiting for. Please, after you."

I haven't got a clue what they could throw at Obama at this point...but McCain seems awful smug the last couple days....I suppose they could have something planned...because wasn't it McCain who said that he would be losing until 48 hours before we voted?? See when I hear shit like that being said...I pay attention...why??? because in 2000...Jeb Bush said the state of Florida would go for his brother, months before the election, and it did...(well, you know what I mean)...then in 2004, Blackwell, and the guy in charge of Diebold stated that Ohio would be delivered to *...AND...it was...(well, at least it was never proven that Kerry won it)...I guess the point I am trying to make is...when one of these guys states something so unequivocally...then I wonder what they know that we don't...and yes, it does concern me... because I think the opposition, in this case, is capable of anything....(especially after reading on another site that absentee ballots in NY went out with the name Barack Osama printed on them)......wb
