1. CNN will not give up on the race issue. They are beating us over
our heads with it. I'm so sick of them.

9. I know I sound like an ass for saying it...
but you had to see the race thing coming.

CNN, not to say that they aren't more corporate than News... but rather because of it... they will dance all over the issue, just for ratings.

It's not less of an issue though, just because it may cut against us.
Sick of them, sure. Reasonable enough. But, when the urge to panic threatens to overwhelm me, I look at Obama and see how cool the fucker manages to stay.. and damn if it isn't soothing...
Keep your cool. The best part of keeping your cool, is watching the "erratic" behavior it elicits from McCain and his tool fool followers...

Just saying.

4. The "Yes" votes are probably mostly African-American.
Of course most are voting Obama, and of course race is a factor. And more power to them.

But I think CNN is hoping this will be read as a "racist" result (whites) making a plausible excuse when the election is stolen.

5. I find it interesting that the no votes closely
match the Obama poll numbers (59%) and the yes votes match the McCain poll numbers (41%).

First and last thing that stuck out for me, thank you for the contribution though.

8. Agreed...
I voted no until I realized that "or someone you know" was part of the question. That changes my answer to yes. Whether it's people cracking jokes about how Obama will need a bullet-proof vest or people saying, "He's a Muslim," I've got a pretty good idea of what they think of him.

10. CNN has my mom a nervous wreck. All of a sudden now she is doubting
Edited on Tue Oct-14-08 05:08 AM by my3boyz
if Obama is really ahead. She does not have MSNBC so she watches CNN everyday. She keeps saying that those people are saying it on the phone but what will they do in the voting booth. I told her that yeah there are some that would not vote for him. HOwever, what incentive do they have to lie to a telephone pollster? I told her that the people in WV and other states had no problem saying that race affected their decision. So why would people in those states lie now? I don't get it. I'm one of the ones that really does not believe it will be a landslide victory but I think he has a very good chance of winning.....
