They are all Bad, but CNN is better than MSNBC in the Morning
it seems. Don't get me wrong, CNN is bad as well.......but they have moments of levity; MSNBC not so much.

Because Morning Joe and (how do I start making big money) Mica are really, really bad. They actually read Jonah Goldberg's entire column in the LA times, and it was frightfully Terribly GOP operative like, as usual. When they read the news, they only read what they want.

Joe said that Nobel Prize Winner Krugman is "closed minded" and that the Nobel Prize are political these days.

Guess conservatives have to invent their own world.

They Never say anything good about Obama. They were talking about how they weren't hearing the candidates talking about the economy...and that neither one of them have offered up solution, and then Joe went on to mouth exactly some of the things that Barack had said in his speech yesterday, without giving Barack credit, and saying why aren't they saying this?

In other words, these folks really do think we are stupid. Amazing and sad at the same time.

1. Agreed. But sometimes CNN is only marginally better. There's hope for CNN in the morning.
But "Morning Joe's Fascist Clubhouse" will always be a smarmy piece of work.

2. My email to GOP Joe this morning after his tirade on Obama Ayers connection crap.......
Joe Joe Joe - Is this going to be the "get Obama" 3 hours? Where the H is the other side of this? Where the H is someone saying Ayers was backed by one of Reagan's top supporters - the Annenberg's were supporters of Ronald Reagan and were also the people whose association was the reason that Obama and Ayers ever crossed paths for God sake! Where is the balance on your show???? Mika used to be one but she is kowtowing now to everything Joe says! Get Frank Rich on! He will give us the real truth and I am not sticking up for Ayers either! But I bet Joe has some people in his past that aren't exactly someone he would like to make public either if it be known. Balance please, just some balance!

3. You are 100% right. I now turn on CNN in the morning because it is at least an
actual news show. Joe Scarborough spends his entire show bashing Obama from what I remember and it appears from posts here he is still doing it. He is the Hannity of MSNBC. Mika is the Colmes of MSNBC, weak and not much more. I miss the show by some of the guests they had on but can't take Scarborough.

4. Boycott the Mika Mouse Show
You'll be happier for it.

Don't get me wrong, it's painfully obvious Kiran Chetry and John Roberts are totally in the tank for McCain, but not as opbviously as Mika and Joey the Scar.

6. I find I get a kick out of Joe he is so right wing that he just sees the
world in that frame of mind. I do not think he can help him self but it puts a face on how many people reason things out. Meeka is much more a thinker. Joe used to drive me nuts when he was on the floor in the House. Joe sure does think he is always right and talks down to Meeka and over just about any one he gets on the show. I wonder how she puts up with it? On the whole I get a kick out of the show.

7. Early morning is for BBC and local news
The Beeb is lightyears ahead of our own cable news operations for world news. From our own, you'd think there isn't much beyond our own shores other than countries we're invading or thinking of invading. From the local station, I learn which local babies are having their first birthday and what today's weather will be, etc. It may not seem earthshakingly important info, but it's all much more useful to me than anything on CNN or MSNBC at that hour.

(You are right, though. Pressed to choose between the two, CNN is marginally better than MSNBC if only because it is less irritating. Joe is, well, Joe. And I've never figured out what Mika's function is other than to sit there and nod her head, make faces, and repeat what others have said.)

9. The gripe I have with CNN is that any time they interview
A democrat and republican separately Roberts usually interviews the Democrat, and he grills them. On the other hand Chetry interviews the republican and lobs softballs at them the whole time and doesn't follow up. I do like the truth squad though, they are as close to balanced as I can find and doesn't hesitate to call out either side when they toss out bullshit.

11. Yep. I've occassionally tuned-in to Morning Joe over the last few months ...
... but a particularly egregious broadcast from last week has turned me off MSNBC mornings completely. I'm pretty much only going to tune-in MSNBC for Countdown and Maddow; the rest is either ignorant or corporate/Right Wing spin.

was just glowing, I don't know what she has done, but her skin was flawlesss. She looked 20 years younger. Beautiful.

Candy Crowley just said that she doesn't think McCain will be able to gain on Obama in the polls since were just 3 weeks until the election.

16. Morning Joe was O.K. until the NY Times did a piece on the show - Joe's ego ran wild after that ran
When I first tuned into the show earlier in the year it seemed to be pretty evenly balanced.

Joe was an ass but not arrogant about it and Mika actually had a backbone and was allowed more than 10 seconds to get her points across.

Ever since the Times did a story on the show trumpeting its ratings success and Joe's renegade Republican outlook (neither of which exists anymore) Joe's ego has swollen 100 fold and Mika has become a mewing kitten given over to channeling Sarah Palin while rarely attempting to contest Joe's POV anymore.

I don't even know who they're trying to compete against in their time slot as they no longer seem to have a consistent approach to the show's hook.

17. "Morning Joe" is secretly salivating over the prospect of an Obama presidency -
they'll be the "pirate radio", "valiantly opposing the forces of evil" :eyes: as they "continue to look out for the little people"!

Martyrdom much, Joe & Mika?
