Mika Mouse said she would buy and play Hank Williams jr song in her truck
Edited on Tue Oct-14-08 09:08 AM by Ichingcarpenter
As you know Mika has a F-150 that she drives in Manhattan and would
not give it up no matter what the gas prices were. At the end of the show
this morning, on what did you learn, the others were slamming Hank's new
song, but Mika said she planned to play it in her truck.

Any Questions?

2. ZOMG, she's so real and down to earth
Seriously, the caricature that media pundits have of "regular folks" is so pathetically desperate and facile.

3. I think anybody who drives a big truck like that through Manhattan is already
an idiot, but if you blast that Hank Williams Jr song out of its dashboard as well, your driving privileges should be suspended.

The woman needs a greener car and some better tunes.

4. Jesus. Can they just purge this show and give it to Dan Abrams or David Schuster?
Bring on a credible female journalist as a co-host and just do a straight show with some commentary/discussion as opposed to this train wreck of a morning-zoo style show.

10. What happen to Dan Abrams? I didn't agree with him always but
he did great work bringing Gov. Don Siegelman's case to the public's view.

He's ten times better than these clowns. I don't see him reporting anywhere now.

I only watched this morning because
I wanted to hear the actor Cromwell talk about his role as GHWB in W.

12. His 9 p.m. show was booted to make room for Rachel Maddow
I like Rachel's show but I'm not sure why Keith and Rachel's shows need to be immediately repeated at 10 and 11 p.m.

I would have liked to have seen Abrams either keep the 9 p.m. slot and Rachel be at 10 p.m or have Abrams come on at 10 p.m.

Schuster used to appear on Morning Joe pretty regularly until he and Joe had their little lover's spat during the Democratic convention. I haven't seen him on in weeks so I don't know if he said "thanks but no thanks" to sharing any more time with Joe and Co. or if there was something else at play.

8. It's a rewrite of a song called "Family Tradition" ( I think) now called McCain/Palin Tradition.
Typical "screw the liberal media" and "kill them funny looking foreigners" type crap.

13. I don't think Hank Williams Sr
would be for McCain.

Hank Williams Sr (whose tune his son used for the song) learned a lot about guitar from a black man.

Hank Williams Sr was also raising his illegitimate daughter before he was killed in an auto accident. Back in that time, not many men would take responsibility for an illegitimate child. IMO a man who would do this would not be a Republican.

Hank Williams Sr was a child of the Depression; he would not have been a Republican IMO.

15. Nope, she's the real deal...... meaning she's right wing ... General Clark
has schooled her many times on her unabashed worship of McCain in the past
few years.

18. I think she was being facetious. No really.
I don't think she meant that.. do you actually think that a woman that gets $400.00 haircuts and wears $600.00 shoes really would listen to that tripe? I think she was being.. well.. a good sport.
