Barack Obama widened his lead considerably over John McCain in four key battleground states during the past three weeks, providing further evidence that the economic crisis has greatly enhanced the Democrat's advantage with just 21 days left before Election Day.

Obama holds double-digit margins over McCain in Minnesota, Michigan and Wisconsin and carries a nine-point advantage over his Republican rival in Colorado, according to polling conducted by Quinnipiac University for washingtonpost.com and the Wall Street Journal.

A 17 point lead in Wisconsin. Can we be moved to a solid blue Obama state yet?

5. FiveThirtyEight has us dark blue
With a 98% chance of going to Obama. Other sites not so much.

I can't speak to anything I see on the ground, but then I'm in a very Repub area. McCain signs dominate and every yard that has one has a second one. (Plenty to go around?)

7. Here in La Crosse Obama signs dominate. There is a waiting list for the Obama signs.
I heard that yesterday someone from the Obama HQ here was going to Madison to try and get 4-500 more signs. Here is where I carry my sign:

I wanted to get one for my yard, too, but I do not live on a busy street. When I tool around town on my bike my sign is seen by hundred of vehicles and I get to enjoy the horn honks and cheers.
