The 1st two debates, I was nervous. But I'm actually looking forward to this last debate. |
|
I was going to vote for Obama anyway, of course, but these 2 debates have given me more confidence in him than ever. I look forward to seeing and hearing him on the issues tomorrow night. I wonder, but am not nervous about, what McCain will do or say. He actually seems to shrink in Obama's presence.
The debates have been very helpful to show how calm, cool, collected, thoughtful, poised, and Presidential Obama is.
I'm looking forward to this one.

1. We've Got To Be And Obama Has To Be Prepared And Not Let Our Guard Down...... |
|
watch out for a McCain ambush that will be picked up and fostered by the MSM to make things as tight as possible going into Nov 4th.
I heard that Mickey Mouse was registered to vote in Florida. I'm sure that this is a Rovian trick to pin stealing this election on the Dems in case Rove can't steal this one like he did the other two. This way if the Dems do win - the Repugs will do everything they can to illegitimize the next 4 years.

3. McCain thinks he's going to win this one. |
|
That's what he said, anyway. This one will get lower ratings than the other two, if tradition holds out. People have made up their minds and have other things to do--unless they are junkies like we are.
Foreign policy is not a problem for Obama. McCain will find this out, if he doesn't already know.

4. I think Bob is going to ask some pretty good questions |

McCain is too stupid and will not be able to deviate from his talking points, it's going to be greatness...

5. I was nervous about the first debate until.... |
|
Edited on Tue Oct-14-08 09:55 AM by Clio the Leo
.... all that crazyness that happened the Wednesday before ..... Joe handled things in his speech, Barack handled things in his speech, ("Put me in coach, I'm ready to play, today....")
Then John McCain wigged out over the financial crisis. Lied to the public, tried to jerk the Obama campaign around, "I'll get back to you..." Then went out and attempted to throw down a challenge to Barack, "I will suspend my campaign ..... but not really."
And the President of the United States wigged out on national television and told the American people we should wig out too.
And then the next day, Barack Obama, calmly strolled into the White House......
.... and ripped John McCain a new one.
"Wahhhhh, Obama yelled at me!!! I'm not gonna come to the debate! Wahhhhh! ...... ok, I guess I'll go."
My favorite day of the campaign. I haven't been nervous since.

7. The first debate, I didn't watch.. |
|
I am not the type of person who can exactly stomach watching people debate live without knowing what will happen -- I didn't even watch the VP debate.
The second debate, I watched, and I found it easier to watch while I was on DU. This debate, I'll watch, because I have to stop running away.
Thanks for sharing

8. Less nervous also, but..... |
|
we still will be watching through the safety filter of the DU threads. The mere sight of McCain or Palin has become too stressful.
Plus the DU comments are soooo much more entertaining to watch.

9. McCain and Palin don't stress me out. They are laughable |
|
in many ways, except when they are whipping up racism and hate, then they are frightening and un-American.
