Drudge was so happy about the race "tightening" but the Gallup poll went back to a 10 point lead (so they finally took THAT one off their site) and now Zogby has Obama at his biggest lead yet according to Zogby:

"Liberal voters support Obama over McCain by an 85% to 10% margin, while McCain leads among conservatives by a 72% to 19% edge - but it is notable that Obama is winning 19% of the conservative support. Among moderates, 61% support Obama, while 32% support McCain.

Among those voters who said they have registered to vote in the last six months, Obama leads McCain by a 53% to 37% margin. Among those who have already voted - about seven percent of the sample - Obama leads by a 52% to 42% edge over McCain."

1. So what does that translate to--since Zogby's the world's worst pollster?
A 10-15 point McCain lead?

3. More like a 10-15 point Obama lead
Zogby's poll underestimates Democratic numerical advantage.

4. He'll point to the Research 2000 poll to show the race is "tightening"
Of course Obama went from +12 to +11, but hey if you have to grasp for straws, then hey...

5. Zogby is nearly as bad as ARG, but it's nice to see anything that'll upset Drudge.

7. What is your point?
The talking heads will just say why isn't Obama up more, he should be!

p.s. I already heard it last night on CNN! Begala called them out on it, saying an 8 point National lead means a LANDSLIDE.

11. It gives Drudge one less claim to make.
I know the THs will say that-they ALWAYS look for the negative angle when it comes to Obama.

10. Drudge cherry picks
He can always find the one poll out of many which shows "tightening."

If you happen to hit on Drudge, you can always link the most favorable Obama poll and send it via the "news tips" box.
