Seriously, I *HATE* the party machine in this state.... it's all about who's been around the longest, and it has nothing to do with talent or charisma.

Take the local Democratic headquarters, for example. It's run by this guy named Ray, and he's a 400-pound sack of shit. He does NOTHING. EVER. NOTHING. EVER. People who actually want to do something USEFUL in this county are swimming against the tide of Ray. But since he's been in there FOREVER, he's the one who knows all the mucky-mucks in the state party, so we can't get rid of him. :shrug:
