Penguin vs. Batman Debate: Is John McCain The Penguin? (Hilarious And Dead-On, W/ Video) |
|
By Cenk Uygur
Sometimes life imitates art. This is one of those cases. Look at how prescient the creators of the television series Batman wound up being this many years later. Tell me this isn't exactly John McCain's tactics, right down to the "my friends" reference at 1:09 in the video:

3. It cracked me up. Just the use of "my friends" alone makes it worth watching |

7. I love all the commentary! |
|
It helps set up the video clip. And then I don't have to explain it to some of the people I want to send it to!

10. Crooked as a crooked shillelagh! Got to love those Irish! |
|
"shillelagh and refers to a short, gnarled, very hard club usually made from the roots of a large tree. They usually have a knobbed head and double as a walking stick. The shillelagh is a traditional folk weapon among the Irish, and can be quite effective in skilled hands. Leprechauns are often pictured with a shillelagh." Thanks for posting this most entertaining Young Turk commentary. As usual Cenk sticks the knife right where it belongs!

14. Wow...that's how you spell "shillelagh", huh? |

I'd hate to get that at a spelling bee.
