I was talking to a Republican judge in Pennsylvania today.
He ran on the Republican line, kept his W sticker on a year past the election, and is very much from the Republican establishment of this Republican county.

He adjourned a case today until November 4th. I reminded him it was election day. He said He had to keep the courthouse open from 7 am until past 9 pm to handle any election challenges. I laughed and told him it didn't look close this year and he probably should come into work with a deck of cards. He didn't smile but instead said "They can mail this one in."

It's over.

1. That is what I like to hear!
Repugs who are honest about this race. An old friend of mine, self described RWer, but very decent, said it was ours. We disagreed and bet on which way NC would go, but not on the outcome. I think I have a beer coming to me.

7. "The first shot...?"
Are you talking about a "shot", as in an attempted legal challenge, or a "shot", as in a mass attack by crazed right-wingers?

3. I tried to make an election bet with a Republican co-worker today

I told him I'd give him 20 EV's, AND a 5% popular vote margin, for a measly $5.00 bet.

He wouldn't even take it when I went to 40 EV's and a 10% margin - even when I lowered it to $1.00.

Of course, he hates McCain, but thinks that Palin is the best thing since sliced (white) bread. :puke:
