"Now let me ask you, which way is West 'By God' Virginia?" Sen. Joe Biden, D-Del, asked the crowd at Ohio University Eastern Campus in St. Clairsville, Ohio, just now.

The crowd pointed towards the neighboring Mountaineer state.

"That way?" Biden asked. "That way? Well, I want to send a message to West Virginia. We’re going to win in West Virginia. Hello West Virginia! We’re going to shock the living devil out of you all!"

"So hang on, folks," Biden said. "Hang on! The whole valley’s coming the right way!"
