4. It lends credence to the theory of some mysterious group pulling the strings |
|
this same group has the power to lower gas prices right before election day--each time, it never fails. Meanwhile, "Joe 6 Pack" feels comfortable knowing that someone as dumb as him is in office.

7. they know they don't rule the world by merit, but by birth into privelege |
|
I think it entertains them to prop up their idiot offspring to high offices
it's like rubbing it in our faces
all the more reason to terminate the dynastic presidency

8. Because they're Republicans. |
|
I had a friend who was raised Republican and she absolutely would not vote any other way. She didn't like W "until his wonderful response to 9/11" :eyes:, but she voted for him because he's a Republican. I have to believe there are more people like her. It just doesn't matter who is running, it's the "R" behind their names.

10. I D O N O T G E T I T ! ! ! |

I have SO many good friends who are Rs, and I meet SO many REALLY good people who are Rs. Intelligent, decent, most even have a sense of humor, most are giving and kind.
And, somehow it is like they have this bizarre mind meld that makes them Rs.
What I don't get is that they elect complete morons in the primary, the morons get elected, then they spend four/eight years making every hair brained and intellectually corrupt excuse possible for them.
Is it so friggen hard to nominate someone competent in the primary.
He would make me want to pull my hair out, but Mitt Romney at least was competent, Huck was a better choice. Only thing they got right was knocking Guiliani out - THAT was the TOTAL nightmare scenario.
