9. Great to see more states join the dark blue team
Not really sure why Wisconsin isn't dark blue since it showed a bigger lead than Florida but they'll probably turn dark blue soon too.

22. Yippee!
I've been following that map. Good to see some more solidly blues added. They base their map on trends. If you click on the state you get a list of the polls for that state. It's interesting to see the numbers. I think part of why some of these are going over to dark blue is because the number of undecideds are dwindling. Looking at Florida, for instance, if you add all the undecideds to McCain's side (just to make a worse case scenario), Obama still comes out ahead.

25. Holy COW - they're bluer than blue!
My husband says "you ain't seen nothing yet." He's been predicting an Obama landslide for weeks.

Never mind!

Folks, THIS IS NOT THE TIME TO GET COMPLACENT. We still have to nail this down as securely as possible to prevent any possibility of election theft. If it's close, they'll try to steal it. And it's more likely they'll get away with it if the race is really tight. We want it GINORMOUS, as my daughter would say. We need it so frickin' lopsided that there's no way they could pull it off.

27. Yahoo News' map is even bluer
Check out Missouri, Virginia, North Carolina...

http://news.yahoo.com/election/2008/dashboard

Blue as the waters of Lake Tahoe. Blue as the eyes of your first true love. Blue as the sky, on that day in your distant youth when you lay on your back with a blade of grass between your teeth, staring off into space and and dreaming of what could be...
