3. Other:
The way Sarah Palin smacks her lips at the end of a sentence or maybe instead of taking in vital oxygen. She makes me crazy.

4. Other
Mcbush..."My friends..."

It may not qualify as a sound to some people, but I still find it most irritating

5. I had to go with gum. It's the rudest sound a human being (not that humans do this*) can make
After that, though, is Sarah Palin's voice - and all the fundy-gelicals who speak that way.

* And yes, my implication here is that anyone who makes sound with their gum is not human. I'd even go so far as to say that there is a very good likelihood that anyone who chews gum at all, especially when anyone else is around, is not a human being. Not a proper one, anyway.

8. Believe it or not, I voted "insect." Palin's a close second, but at least with Palin
there's an excellent chance she'll say something so off the wall, I'll get a giggle out of it. Olbermann just featured a clip of Palin speaking in New Hampshire today, which she apparently thinks is part of the "great Northwest."

11. Listening to Palin drone
is the worst sound I've ever heard. Give me 5 years in a box listening to Fran Drescher reading Limpballs' books over the unique form of torture that is Sarah Palin.

I'll take a root canal over another 90 minutes of her talking, that debate gave me a 5 hour headache.

13. For some reason, the sound of water pouring in those Brita commercials aggravates me..
and I usually love the sound of running water. Weird.
