Just be prepared that the media will spin it to McCain |
|
At this point, there is more $ in trying to close the gap.
Figure this sliding scale:
McCain wins = "The elder statesman ran circles around the naive newbie! What a comeback! And its the last debate, so what can Obama possibly do in the last three weeks to get the momentum back? He's in trouble."
Even debate = "McCain clearly wins! We've got ourselves a race! Never count the ol' war hero out!"
Obama wins = "It was a tie. Nobody really scored any points. Obama missed a big chance to close the deal, leaving the door open for McCain."
Obama wins big = "No game changers here. McCain still hanging in there, looking mavericky. Obama will have the pressure on from here on out to try to run out the clock."
McCain babbles incoherently, makes multiple references to "gooks", cries, leaves midway through debate = "Neither side really hit a home run tonight."

2. You obviously haven't heard the news |
|
mcbush already won the debate.
It was a stunning debate performance by mcbush.
No matter what Obama said, mcbush brushed it aside and countered brilliantly reminding voters of Obama's links to some of history's most notorious figues: Ayers, Flager, Wright, as well as Jack the Ripper, Blue Beard, Caligula and the guy that cancelled The Beverly Hillbillies.
On the subject of the economy mcbush was equally adept at reminding voters that he and he alone, was the only person, a man who finds regulation an anethma, who could properly regulate Wall Street and bankers.
See...I'm already prepared for the pro-mcbush spin

5. We should not trust the media. |

They need ratings, but we need to clearly defeat the Republican party. Those two goals are not on the same side.
