There is no other way to explain his comments now that Obama/Biden "won't have a mandate" and that "they can't close the deal".
He's a fucking idiot.

Rachel has just the right mix of humorously mocking him and tearing him apart with facts.

16. When do the polls in Ohio, Virginia and Florida close? |
|
If they close at 8 pm est, and they can be quickly called for Obama, the race will be officially over at that minute.

7. Of course he is -- but that's what makes him so FUN! |

I believe the analogy often heard is Pat is like your crazy Uncle. I, like many others, don't have a crazy Uncle. We adopted Pat! I just wish I could get him drunk at Thanksgiving dinner, I bet it REALLY gets fun then.

It's obvious when he breaks out in that grin of his and laughs what he's doing. He's just the person they use to have the opposing view.

21. Gergen said something similar on CNN |
|
but with a different spin -- and so did I after last debate. Gergen said that what Obama needs to do is to try and run up the score. He (Obama) shouldn't settle for a narrow victory. Running up the score carries a mandate and makes it so much easier to govern. Squeaking out a narrow victory invites the other party to resist even after they lose.
THat's the kind of thing I was thinking about that Obama shouldn't just go into prevent defense and a safe "run out the clock" kind of offense.
I thnk that's the kind of point Buchanan was making and it seems to me in general to be a reasonable point.

Say it ain't so!
Buchanan is an idiot?
Actually, he did give a tip of the hat to Obama and essentially conceded the election due to McCain's inability to land a punch.

What was your first clue?
Was it when he was a Nixon Senior Advisor? Was it when he told Ford to pardon Nixon and Ford was obedient? Was it when he held Reagan's hand through his WH years? Was it when he decided to start up the amazing thing called The American Cause?
He has made me want to fucking yell and scream for about 30 years or more....
He is the king of the fucktards.
He loves his niche and has covered himself in the flag and rolled around in the blood of American troops for fucking ever. I would love to drop him off about a mile outside the green zone.
He never makes sense for very long. He is the biggest windbag after all the other windbags on the planet.
