McCain actually looked pretty good for 20 mins or so. Then he blew it by reaching into the gutter for the Ayers gibberish, an issue that only the fringe of the far right cares about.

2. He's actually very similar to Sarah Palin.
In that he mechanically reaches into some mental file folder for one talking point after another with no actual substance or context to connect them.
