When Obama wins, when can he realistically start making decisions? |
Does he have to wait til the blivet continues to ruin us, or can/could he do an interim fix?

The financial people have to jump right in and a transition squad on all fronts is obvious.

4. actually they will be overwhelmed with transition problems and not even focusing on policy for |
the first couple of months. They have to hire thousands of staff members and they have to make sure that they get the right leaders at the top.

6. legally no but if the Bush administration were to agree they could cooperate on issues |
but the main problem is that they have to take in tens of thousands of resumes and make critical decisions on personnel that will shape the next 4 years. Its more important that they get that right than try and rush into policy.
