Joe the Plumber? Paid & scripted? Isn't it amazing they have
found and actual republican that can speak coherently? Call me jaded, but I wonder how much money he received for that performance.:shrug: And Joe Scarborough was just too happy this morning presenting him.

4. Too many want simplistic answers to complicated problems and that
seems to be the problem with the Republican base. Joe illustrates this by saying: "you're punishing me for working hard so you can help people who want to sit on their butts."
It still amazes me that these folks don't seem to know that in the last 30 years, Republicans have been responsible for the largest expansions of government and the bulk of the deficit.
I don't watch enough t.v. to know, but are any generic ads run that illustrate what the repubs in general have done?
I think Obama could have answered his question better and there are many counters to Joe's arguments.
I guess that's why Joe is the darling of the rightwing for now...it helps them to "distill" complicated problems down to simplistic sound bites.

8. Totally agree....there are two kinds of republicans, IMHO;
those who are wealthy and those who are uneducated and do not follow politics, they are drawn by the patriotism & testosterone gimmicks.

Listing for Joseph Wurzelbacher Construction Company, Cincinnati, OH? If this is him, then I guess he is looking to open a SECOND business?

7. I read somewhere here that he's not even a licensed plumber,
and he doesn't even yet own the business, he works for a plumbing company. McCain fed another line to the unknowing...this is such garbage, it's not like we've come to expect anything else from McShame.
