election 2000. Bush v Gore. 2 am. My 8 yr old grandson sitting in the corner, staring at the TV, saying: "And I thought this was going to be boring!"

it is amazing what they pay attention to. BTW, if kids could decide the election-our kids here are solidly in the Obama camp. The reasons are very insightful, he likes kids, he makes funny faces, he talks good, family member thinks he is good.....
I remember the first president I knew about-John Kennedy. I liked him because he had a daughter just like me and he liked his kids. And actually, those things make sense-even now, because he had young kids-maybe he wasn't so quick to challenge Russia to use atomic weapons.

16. I'll bet your son and my son would be friends if they knew one another. |
|
My kid does stuff like that, too. He has a great sense of humor, loves Obama, and is very in tune with the race. After the VP debate he and his cousin entertained a big group of us for about 20 minutes non-stop answering questions as Sarah Palin would.
