It looks as though the Robocalls are widespread ...
It is being reported on many news sites.

At about cent per call ... He can reach a million homes for $10,000

Looks like we have an asymmetrical ( guerrilla ) warfare going on as McCain is running out of time and probably money.

10. Don't robo calls annoy by default?
I'm not sure I've ever met anyone who doesn't put the phone down as soon as it becomes clear it's a machine on the other end of the line.

5. I received the call today and transcibed it. Text enclosed
I transcribed it:

Hello,
I'm calling for John McCain and the RNC because you need to know that Barack Obama has worked closely with domestic terrorist, Bill Ayers, whose organization bombed the U.S. Capitol, the Pentagon, a judge's home, and killed Americans and Democrats will enact an extreme leftist agenda if they take control of Washington. Barack Obama and his Democratic allies lack the judgment to lead our country.
This call is paid for by McCain/Palin 2008 and the Republican National Committee at 202-863-8500

6. They called me a few minutes ago.
It was an unavailable number, when I Googled the number on my caller ID it comes up as the RNC.

I didn't listen to it, I just picked up the phone and hung it back up.

Now I wish I would have listened to their bullshit.

9. This is why I have an answering machine at home and screen calls.
As for my cell phone, if it's someone I don't recognize or the caller ID can't be seen (i.e. blocked), I just let it go to voice mail and check it after the call is done.
