MASON CITY, Iowa - Teresa Heinz Kerry, the wife of Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry (news - web sites), was taken to a hospital here late Saturday after complaining of an upset stomach, a spokeswoman said.

She was taken to Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa by ambulance from the airport.

"As a precaution, Mrs. Heinz Kerry had a series of routine tests performed and was released," said Sarah Geggenheimar, a spokeswoman for Heinz Kerry. "She is feeling better and is traveling to her home in Pittsburgh tonight as planned."

Kerry had been campaigning in Ohio, separately from Mrs. Heinz Kerry, when she became ill. He drove in a motorcade to their Pittsburgh home early in the evening.

This doesn't mention the results of the tests. I hope everything is okay!!

What I found interesting is that with all the news going on about the election that MSNBC still has up as a major headline from yesterday Bill Clinton is in the hospital. I notice that when I went to see if there was more on this and what they were saying about the election. Nothing. Must not update it often.

For a lady her age, this is a hard life to live and it wears on you.
