Acorn is intended to incite GOP leaning voter registration workers. |
|
After voter registration closed in many states, Fox News and the Republicans hammered Acorn for "vote fraud." They use this bogus accusation to motivate their base but also to motivate GOP leaning registration workers. Instead of seeing innocent mistakes on voter registration forms, they'll be seeing vote fraud and will do their utmost to make sure that those "fraudulent" voters aren't registered.
I think they'll also use it to push back against charges of voting irregularities.
Did Mickey Mouse remind you of anything? In the 2000 recount, the Republicans put together a ballot with Disney Characters on it in an attempt to say that's how easy it was to vote in Palm Beach County and it was the fault of the "stupid" voters that the voted for the wrong candidate.

2. We need to get rid of the electronic voting machines. |
|
I remember when they were pushing them in 2000. There was already and MIT study which showed how bad they were. Of course, Jeb Bush and Kathleen Harris pushing their purchase should have been a big clue that electronic voting was NOT the way to go.
