What the hell is it with all the hang wringing and worrying today?
Obama is ahead in the polls and has been for weeks. The Electoral vote is showing over-whelmingly for Obama.

The momentum is on our side.

Are you all just afraid of success? :wtf:

2. The Reich Wing looks to outright steal the election.
If you aren't worried about that, then I don't know what to say.

We need to have 25% majorities to win by 1%.

4. Like everyone in America hasn't known that all year?
After a few positive weeks here on DU all of a sudden everyone is now worried about this?

3. Concern troll basics courses just graduated at the local community college.
Some just realized that winning the debate doesn't mean the election is over....

8. I've never seen a bunch of people change their moods faster
than the people on DU.

Everyone was full of joy until a few hours ago and now everything is doom and gloom.
Must have been one hell of a 'concern' course at that college. Oy....

5. It might be all the ACORN stuff...
gives me the feeling the McCain camp is using their complaints about ACORN to hide THEIR fraud.

14. House Judiciary Committee already sent letter to FBI & DOJ
they want a response by 10-23-08. TPM has copy of the letter. We need to GOTV if enough democrats vote this is all a non-issue. Obama and his team are fighting for evey vote and will have attorneys strategically placed around the country on election day.
Not This Time Not This Year! Their stealing days are over. Democrats are fighting back every where. The Social Security Dept turned in a complaint about republicans trying to deny voters their rights by saying they are non-citizens. They turned them in because they have so many people coming to them for proof of citizenship that were born in the U.S. they are backlogged.

This happens all the time - the quick and judicious use of the "hide thread" feature is a godsend, trust me!

12. Yep, The worst of the 'concern' threads are now gone.
We can't hide our heads in the sand about what is going on but we also need to realize that Obama will defend himself against anything that may happen.
McCain WILL NOT be allowed to steal this election.

10. We all need to take a step back
Turn off the tv, go for a walk, volunteer at a nursing home, clean out the refrigerator, read a story to our kids, or just curl up on the couch and enjoy some quiet time. I admit that I am a nervous wreck about this election, but I'm going to take my own advice and chill out.

13. My house is soooo clean right now....
I'm down to cleaning out the closet in the guestroom just to burn off the nervous energy.

I firmly believe Obama will win but waiting for election day and the results is getting to me.

11. It should be posted once a day.
Barring some extreme event, Barack Obama is the next president of the United States because the electoral count is a lock. Everyone wants a blow out - I know I do - and chances are we'll get one. But even if it's a squeaker we still get in and the era of Bush/Cheney/Rove is OVER!!!

16. McCain's closing in, didn't you hear?
I'm just guessing. There were a coupld of reporters saying McCain has gained a little bit on Obama---I don't know what poll they're looking at. But the only polls worth taking seriously are state polls.

17. Agreed.
We still have to fight to make sure this thing isn't stolen.

Doesn't mean we have to be melancholy while doing it!

Sing while we fight, baby!
