He's going back up on Gallup, back up on all swing state polls I've seen, several important newspaper endorsements, and the Colin Powell news is good for Obama no matter how much of a dirtbag you think he is. Also, he's in the mid-80's on Intrade...

So what's everyone so negative about?

1. You just don't get it. If we're losing, then we're losing, and if we're winning...
then we're still losing.

Get with the program!

2. Negativity is what makes some people feel better.
If the election goes to Obama on November 4th expect to see concern over 2012 start on November 5th. Hell it already has and he hasn't even been elected yet.

4. It's the fear of another stolen election...which can ALWAYS happen.
We've become slightly more confident, and I don't begrudge that, however, we have to remember the past. We've been confident before and we thought the Repubs actions weren't going to work, we got it wrong in the past. I think we have to show some action at the rise of these robocalls & Michele Bachmann. There are dirty dealers going around and we need nip it in the bud. <---I sound like McCain. Jeez. Sure Obama is ahead...but we have to remember these idiots stole TWO elections from us.

5. Amen. I'm hoping that it will be close to impossible to steal this
one because Obama's numbers are so high. But... never underestimate the depths to which the repugs will sink to keep the neocons in the White House...

If they do steal it, I'm afraid the majority of the country would truly erupt...

6. There is some good news today on the election fraud front ...
I don't know if you have been following the mess here in Ohio, with the problems with early voting being challenged or not, but....

It went to the Supreme Court today, and they ruled in favor of allowing the early registration/voting!

9. I have...thank God for Jennifer Brunner. This was a mess and
we almost lost 200,000 new voters. It's disgusting and disturbing. But that's just one tactic in one state. The robocalls go to many other states building a fear mongering society. That's the bloody problem I'm having. We can't control the robocalls and who they go to and they are so dirty it's inciting even more violence.

I fuckin' hate MSM over this as well. They keep saying, "we know these tactics don't work", "people are more worried about the issues"...give me a break. They are marginalizing the situation we're facing. We don't have the luxury to take ANYTHING for granted...and that is the implication given forth by the MSM on this issue.

It's exactly what they did to the racist and destructive shouts and taunts coming out of the McPalin rallies. Sure they gave it light and commented a bit but they didn't go to the full extent and hammer out how disturbing it is. They go one end and call it a night. This Bachmann situation happened on MSNBC and you know as well as I do that it's a localized situation which won't be given national light which it bloody well deserves. She is a fascist, promoting fascist ideology and playing on the emotions of people as seen by the McPalin rallies and the robocalls.

One move is great, we need more and we need to be on guard. The OP's post is something I understand, the negativity is high, however it's important in liue to what is going on currently and there is no time to rest and become in any way complacent as we did in the past two elections to some extent. We want this to happen we need to hit locally and federally and all levels regularly.

Thank God for the Supreme Court in this instance but there is more and this ACORN scandal could possibly lead to more. Shoot, there are plenty of hcances for these guys to take it and I think we need to be on our guard and give a cheers when one battle has been won.

7. Hey, what happened to your DU break?
This place is addictive, isn't it?

The mood today has been pretty upbeat other than fury at Michele Bachmann's stupid ass.

8. Some people have this automatic fear that everyone will go home
and quit working on the campaign if they think Obama's ahead!

I agree with the post a few days back that being ahead is inspiring, not the other way round.
