6. I think Powell has more sense at this point |
|
to endorse McCain. I wonder, also, if Powell has his own opinions about McCain constantly using his POW history for votes.

4. Powell was (willingly) used and abused by the GOP. If he |
|
endorses McBush, he's just a glutton for punishment.

5. Is he basing it on anything new? |
|
Or just speculating on all the rumors we've heard?

7. Powell endorsing Obama-Biden isn't *quite* a bus-throw. His moderation is well known |
|
Almost as well known as his own sell-out of his moderate foreign policy views while he was Secretary of State.

8. Sounds more likely that the RNC twisted his arm to shill against the black guy. |
|
Just like they had Lieberman on the stump with the geezer today.
They're all hoping to ride him back into power.
I can't see how it will help Powell, because he knows that the RNC holds Powell's secrets. Obama won't hold it against him, and he's retired, anyway.
Nothing to gain from endorsing Obama. Alot to lose.

9. That seems to be the talk of the town. |
|
I'd prefer it if the squawking media heads kept their mouths shut and let Powell speak for himself.
