Memo to McCain-Palin supporters: You are not America. |
|
In fact, as far as most of you go, I no longer even believe you are Americans.

1. Would this include all ethnic Republicans? |
|
You know, Blacks, Native Americans, Latinos? I know quite a few Republicans and most are from these ethnic backgrounds. Just want to be clear who is and is not an American these days.........according to DU that is.

2. I don't speak for DU. I speak for me. |
|
As for the Republicans you reference... they're going to have to speak for themselves on Nov. 4, too, aren't they? A vote for McCain-Palin is the equivalent of spitting in America's eye.
But whatever they decide, this much is clear: McCain-Pailin supporters are not America. They are not the entirety of this country, not by a long shot, no matter how loudly their party's leaders claim otherwise.

4. Good question. I think sometimes people project things... |

... into a post that aren't really there.

5. Just wanted to see if this was "White" Americans who are non-Americans |
|
or if or pertained to Republicans across the board. I will be informing my NA mom who is a Republican that she is not an American. She should be used to that. That's what white people told her when she was a girl.

6. Is she voting for McCain-Palin? |
|
And... do you understand that there is a difference between "Republican" and "voting for McCain-Palin"?
Many people who have voted Republican in the past are heeding their consciences this year, and will not vote McCain-Palin.

7. They don't agree with the way America is set up |
|
In fact, they are projecting when they claim liberals hate America. They do. They are the ones that would censor people for expressing their views against a war; they are the ones that would have the government backed their religion; they are the ones that don't believe everyone accused of a crime deserves justice. All things that are a major part of what makes up America, they wish were different. It's really weird how they believe they are the ones that love the place.

8. So true, sadly. They trample on every American ideal... |
|
... and wrap themselves in the flag while doing it.
