Need voting advice in regards to renewing Driver's License.
My birthday is Nov. 2nd. I have to renew my driver's license by or before then. I am worried because I want to vote early and it says at the bottom of the renewal card that the numbering system will be different on my new card...which I won't get for two-three weeks. Should I renew it first? Should I just vote and then renew it??????HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

1. Request a mail-in ballot and be one of the FIRST to vote for Obama.
Like me.

2. Make a photocopy of the old license -- bring it with you.
And, get a note from the DMV to that effect.

5. I called the local office and
they said that I keep my old one until the new one comes but I am worried about any numbers difference on the new license to the old one. I have already checked our registration and both husband and I are registered but I have been getting all sorts of Republican flyers here addressed to me and I worry that I would have my vote tossed out or something. I think we threw out our registration cards. We moved here two years ago and everything is updated as far as address.

4. Do you still have your voter ID card?
If so, it has an expiration date. My guess is that you won't be issued a new voter ID until your present voter ID expires.

Just the same, I would call my county registrar's office to find out for sure.
